Kurt “Carlo” Yusuf has been a chef and caterer for the last 15 years. After graduating from Le Cordon Bleu cooking school in London in 1999, Carlo worked at hotels and restaurants in London, Massachusetts, and Costa Mesa, California. Gradually, he discovered catering to be the most rewarding aspect of creative cooking and even taught classes on everything from pie making to pan sauces.
Carlo’s interest and passion for all things cookies began purely by accident three years ago. After noticing the reaction on the faces of several children who had just eaten some chocolate chip cookies he’d brought to the classroom that day, Carlo realized at that moment that there is probably no more simple and perfect a dessert than a well-made, high-quality cookie.
